Milan linked with Samardžić, Morata and Scamacca

Start

Milan are looking to strengthen their midfield and attach this summer, looking to Lazar Samardžić, Alvaro Morata and Gianluca Scamacca. The Rossoneri have had a tough start to the transfer campaign and look set to lose Sandro Tonali to Newcastle in the coming days. They were thought to be close to a deal for free agent Marcuis Thuram, only to see Inter hijack the deal at the last minute.

Transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Rossoneri are looking to reinvest the Tonali cash almost immediately, first focusing on getting a deal in place for Udinese’s Samardzic, which is expected to cost around €16 million.

Davide Frattesi was although thought to be an option for the club, but he looks more likely to join Inter this summer.

In terms of strikers, Di Marzio reports that Milan want Scamacca from West Ham, and may be able to offer more favourable terms compared to Roma, who want to take the Italy international on loan next season.

Finally, Morata is on Milan’s radar, given that he could be available for a nominal fee and has extensive Serie A experience.
