Milan are looking to reinforce their squad this winter, and are being linked with Finn Van Breeman and Serhou Guirassy. The Rossoneri are expected to be without Pierre Kalulu for a period of time, and have reportedly opted to venture back into the winter mercato to add to the squad.
Sky Sport Italia report that one of the departments to be reinforced is definitely the defence: the Rossoneri are looking for a central defender.
Milan director Geoffrey Moncada, who went to view Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly a week ago, also closely watched a youngster from Basel, namely Basel defender van Breemen.
On Sunday, Moncada watched Basel win 2-1 at home, and scouted the young Dutchman . It is not certain that van Breemen will be the ‘chosen one’, according to Sky: Moncada’s was also a “refresher” visit, but the Basel player is part of a list of profiles considered interesting by the Milan management
. In the meantime, Kelly remains in turn on Moncada and Furlani’s notebook: he is valued by Milan management and his contract expires in June.
Milan could opt for a new center forward should they find the right profile. In this sense, the Rossoneri have made an attempt for Guirassy, the Stuttgart striker who has already scored 14 goals scored since the beginning of the year and current Bundesliga second top scorer.
Guirassy has a termination clause that would allow him to free himself right in January for a sum much lower than his value, but at the moment he would prefer not to move mid-season, postponing a departure farewell until the summer.
