Start

Milan are ramping up its efforts in the summer transfer market, with a focus on strengthening Paulo Fonseca’s squad for the upcoming season. The Rossoneri have made significant moves, particularly in their pursuit of Monaco’s midfielder Youssouf Fofana.

Milan have submitted a new offer for Fofana, proposing €12 million plus bonuses to secure the French international’s services. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, while Monaco’s initial asking price stands at €18 million, the gap between the two clubs is narrowing. The Milan management is optimistic about finalizing the deal as early as next week, aiming to bring Fofana into Fonseca’s dressing room.

Simultaneously, the club is maintaining active discussions with Red Bull Salzburg regarding defender Strahinja Pavlovic. These ongoing talks suggest Milan’s commitment to reinforcing their backline as well.

In a parallel development, Milan has scheduled a meeting with the father-agent of Lazar Samardzic in the coming hours. This meeting indicates that Samardzic is not viewed as an alternative to Fofana but potentially as an additional reinforcement for the midfield.

The club’s transfer activities don’t stop there. Milan continues to express strong interest in Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, highlighting their ambition to bolster their attacking options.
