Milan are being linked with a move for Barcelona centre-back Clement Lenglet as they look to bolster their back-line. The Rossoneri have been the move active club in Serie A, having secured deals for the likes of Christian Pulisic, Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor, among numerous others, but their transfer business has not ended yet.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Milan are now considering making a bid for Lenglet, who they feel fits the profile they are looking for. The newspaper write how the French defender Lenglet has the ‘right numbers’: 28 years old, neither too young nor too old, and has played in three different leagues: Ligue1, La Liga and the Premier League.
The club are expected to bid around €10 million for Lenglet, a figure they deem affordable as well as possibly being enough to sway Barcelona.
The French international has spent the bulk of his career in Spain, featuring first for Sevilla before a switch to Barcelona, where he’s played the last four seasons, winning La Liga, the Spanish Cup and Super Cup.
