Milan are expected to make contact with Porto once again in an effort to sign Iranian international Mehdi Taremi. The Rossoneri have been among the most active teams in Europe on the transfer front, signing eight new first team players, but they are still in need of a new striker.
Sky Sport Italia report this evening that this evening, there will be new contactd between the Rossoneri and the Portuguese side, with Milan’s objective being to understand the feasibility of the operation.
Milan will try until the end of this transfer window to sign a new striker, but the hope is that Porto will lower their €25 million request for the player. Porto risk losing Taremi for nothing next summer as his contract expires in 2024, and Milan are in contact with the player’s agents, preparing a final offer, which should be less than around 20 million.
