Milan eyeing Swedish striker Gyokeres

Start

Milan have defined their priority for the summer transfer market, making a new striker their number one objective. With Frenchman Olivier Giroud, who will turn 38 in September, out of contract in June, and increasingly tempted by the idea of finishing his career in Major League Soccer in the United States, the need for a new centre-forward has become a priority.

Calciomercato report that Swedish forward Viktor Gyokeres, currently at Sporting Lisbon, is one of the profiles being monitored by the Rossoneri executives, but he is not the top priority. The same goes for Franco-Guinean Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart and Canadian Jonathan David of Lille.

At the top of Milan’s shopping list for the attack, there are always two names: Dutchman Joshua Zirkzee at Bologna and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. They are the most appreciated, the youngest, and the most expensive.
