Milan intend to find mechanisms in order to improve their squad through the signings of talented young prospects, as they are considering a potential summer move for Red Bull Salzburg marksman Noah Okafor.
So far this season, the Swiss international has been on fine run of form, notching ten goals and one assist for the Austrian outfit in 22 appearances across all competitions.
Following his impressive displays within the Champions League, the 22 year-old clinical goal-scorer has attracted the interest of many European giants, making them contemplate on acquiring the 25 million euro striker.
According to reports from Calciomercato, the Rossonerri are evaluating the option of securing Okafor during the summer ahead of next year’s campaign, as only one year would be left on the rising star’s contract with Salzburg at that particular point in time, allowing the Serie A giants to secure him for a much lower fee compared to his market valuation.
With uncertainty looming regarding the futures of veterans Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic following this year’s campaign, the signing of Okafor would permit Pioli to have a young talisman within his arsenal, who can provide a great deal of quality and depth within the front-line.
