Both Milan and Barcelona are following the situation of Chelsea and Italy midfielder Jorginho who will be available as a free agent in January. The 30-year-old is into the final year of his contract and is likely to leave the Blues next summer, with both La Liga and Serie A seen as possible options.
Speaking to the 5th Stand, the player commented on his immediate future saying:
I’m very happy at the moment we’re all very focused on what we need to do. I’m enjoying life here. I’m enjoying working with everyone and I think everybody says the same thing. It’s enjoyable to be at Chelsea.”
According to Sport.es, both Barcelona and Milan are interested in signing the former Napoli maestro and are pushing to get an agreement in place with him during the January break to avoid competition next summer.
Juventus have followed the Italian international very closely and were keen to sign him when he left Naples and again last summer when he was linked with a move away.
