Milan aiming for Jonathan David and Jakub Kiwior

Start

Milan are hoping to dip into the January transfer market with Jonathan David and Jakub Kiwior both targets for the Rossoneri. The club have suffered a spate of injuries in recent weeks that have impacted both their attacking and defensive line-ups.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Milan feel the need to invest in the transfer window, given the shortages in defence and attack.

The newspaper claim that Jonathan David is viewed as an ideal target as he can fill multiple roles in attack, but he could cost at least €40 million in January. The Canadian has been a long-standing target for the Rossoneri, and the lack of options to lead the attacking line could force their hand.

Croatian forward Rade Krunic could be the player sacrificed in order to raise funds for the deal, with Fenerbahce still keen on the player following their interest from the summer.

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is the first name for the defence and is viewed as a good option, given that he already has eighteen months experience in Serie A with Spezia.

Milan could look to sign the centre-back on loan to begin with, and option to sign him outright next summer, should the Gunners agree.
