Inter Milan are set to bolster their squad with a new acquisition on a free transfer. After prolonged courtship, Mehdi Taremi is now poised to officially say “yes” to the Nerazzurri.
The Iranian forward, born in 1992, who was on the verge of joining Milan last summer, is nearing the end of his contract with Porto, a club he will depart at the end of the season to move to Italy.
According to Sky Sport’s Andrea Paventi, as reported, Taremi will arrive in Italy tomorrow to undergo routine medical examinations with the Nerazzurri. This step is necessary to finalize the agreement, which, as per regulations, can already be formalized.
Taremi’s impending move to Inter represents a significant coup for the club, as they secure the services of a talented striker without any transfer fee involved. His arrival adds depth and quality to Inter’s attacking options, providing manager Simone Inzaghi with more firepower upfront as they compete on multiple fronts.
