There are conflicting reports about Max Allegri’s future at Juventus, with Sky Italia adamant that he will remain in charge. Many fans have been vocal about their dislike of Allegri’s football and have called for a change before the start of the next campaign.
While Goal Italia, Tuttosport and others claim that the dismal form this season could lead to a change, Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus will ‘move forward with Allegri’ in 2023-24.
The journalist claims that ‘the Turin-based club is planning for the future after the big executive changes in January and the probable entry of Cristiano Giuntoli in the sporting directors role’.
Should Giuntoli fail to free himself from Napoli this summer, Giovanni Manna could be promoted to the role temporarily, but Allegri will remain coach for the next season.
Di Mario reports that ‘the choice, which in any case was never in doubt, of the Bianconeri management on the confirmation of Massimiliano Allegri was made for both technical and economic reasons (given his contract with Juventus until 2025).’
