Ligue 1 side Marseille are still interested in Atalanta midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi but they will face competition from Spurs. The Ukrainian international looks almost certain to leave La Dea in the near future, having come close to departing in the summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Marseille remain interested in the player, although La Dea would have preferred to speak with them about a potential player exchange involving Amine Harit, who recently picked up a serious injury.
Instead, Atalanta are asking for between €15-18 million for the 29-year-old, a figure that may be beyond the reach of the French side.
Along with Marseille, Spurs have retained an interest in Malinovskyi, having come close to signing him in the summer. With his contract with La Dea set to end in June 2023, it’s almost certain that they will attempt to recoup some funds from a potential sale, with Spurs looking to sign him in the January transfer window.
