Inter Milan President Beppe Marotta has spoken to Dazn ahead of the team’s first match of the Serie A second half against Venezia, addressing recent transfer rumors and the club’s plans for the future.

Reflecting on the team’s recent performance, Marotta stated, “This is a mature team, unfortunately, you can’t always win. Today is an important test, our professionals are ready to make this change of direction. We use a common saying in these cases: those who lose explain. We’ve explained ourselves and found different solutions and motivations.”

Addressing the swirling rumors about midfielder Davide Frattesi’s potential departure, Marotta was emphatic: “He has absolutely not asked to be transferred. We don’t want to sell anyone, but it’s clear that requests can come in. When someone expresses interest, it’s right to evaluate, but at the moment I can’t say that he wants to leave.”

Regarding potential squad changes, Marotta revealed, “Ausilio and Baccin have been working since the first day of training camp to bring in elements that suit our needs. There will be changes but not a revolution, we have a competitive squad. In our opinion, this is a matter of ordinary administration.”
