Italian striker Mario Balotelli is set to return to Turkey to play for Adana Demirspor, having ended his contract with FC Sion. ‘Super’ Mario spent the last season playing with the Swiss side on a two-year contact, but the deal was terminated earlier this week, allowing him to make a free transfer.
Adana Demirspor have now confirmed that Balotelli will return to them, stating: ‘Our club has reached a 1+1 year agreement with Mario Balotelli’.
The 33-year-old previously scored 19 goals in 33 appearances for Demirspor before making the move to Switzerland in 2022.
