PSG and Italy midfielder Marco Verratti could earn close to €156m for three years, if he chooses to make the move to Al-Hilal. The 30-year-old still has two years left on his contract with the Parisians, but recent reports suggest he is looking for a change of scenery after 11 years in Ligue 1.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Verratti is in talks with Al-Hilal and has reportedly reached an agreement on salary, with PSG and the Saudi side now in talks to agree a transfer fee.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the opening bid is €30 million, but PSG have no intention of accepting an offer that they deem too low.
Talks are expected to continue, but there’s willingness on the part of both clubs to get the deal done. For his part, Verratti is set to earn €156 million for three seasons in the Saudi Pro league.
