A report from Il Corriere dello Sport claims Napoli are giving serious thought to a €60m Manchester United offer for Kim Min-Jae. The South Korean centre-back arrived in Naples last summer in an €18m transfer deal from Fenerbahce and has gone on to become a key part of the squad that helped lead Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.
The 26-year-old has a contract with the Partenopei until 2025 which includes a release clause of €45m, dependent on certain conditions. The terms of the clause are reportedly only valid from July 1-15, 2024 and only for teams outside of Italy.
Il Corriere dello Sport claim that United consider Kim a priority signing this summer, and are prepared to offer Napoli €60m in an effort to get their man.
For their part, the Azzurri are giving serious consideration to cashing-in on their star defender in order to raise funds for the summer transfer window. The sale could also go some way towards them being able to keep striker Victor Osimhen, given that he has been linked with the likes of United, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
