Leonardo Bonucci has been linked with a move Lazio after being told that he no longer features in Juve’s plans for the new season. The club captain has been informed by Juve directors that he will not be in the first team and will not train with his teammates, despite having a year left on his contract with the Bianconeri.
Juventus are reportedly prepared to allow Bonucci to leave for free this summer, provided they are able to come to an agreement on his contract.
Sky Sport Italia report that the 35-year-old veteran could make the switch to Lazio, where he would reunite with former Bianconeri coach Maurizio Sarri.
The move is likely to be more suitable to the defender who has already reportedly rejected the option to play in MLS or the Middle East.
