Leeds join Inter in pursuit of Valencia’s Jesus Vazquez

Start

With Inter in a deep search to sign a full-back within the winter transfer window, Premier League outfit Leeds United have joined the Nerazzurri within their pursuit for Valencia defender Jesus Vazquez.

As it stands, it seems very likely that German full-back Robin Gosens will depart Inter after having joined Inzaghi’s men only 12 months ago from Atalanta due to a lack of playing time since his return from injury.

Consequently, the Beneamata have opened their tabs for the 19 year-old full-back, who only featured in four games this season thus far and has a contract with the La Liga side that runs until the summer of 2025. However, the Milanese club face quite fierce oppostion in acquiring the Spanish international.

According to reports from Spanish media outlet Todofichajes, Leeds are willing to offer 10 million euros for Vazquez, which is three million more than what the Biscione were planning on sending over.

With the whites showing desire to offer a more hefty amount in transfer fees to begin the negotiations, it remains to be seen whether Inter will continue to their tracking of promising prospect Vazquez and favour another full-back to replace Gosens if he ultimately departs.
