Lazio have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood in the final hours of the transfer window. The 21-year-old is set to depart Old Trafford after he and the club came to the decision for him to move on. Greenwood was the subject of an internal investigation by United following allegations of alleged domestic abuse, but charges against him were later dropped.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Lazio are the latest in a long line of European clubs being linked with the young forward, however no decision has been made as yet.
Greenwood has been with United since he was six-years-old, progressing through their academy and youth team setup to the senior squad, were he scored 35 goals in 129 games.
