Lazio are making a bid to sign Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic after his move to Inter fell through at the last minute. The Serbian international looked set to join the Nerazzurri after they had agreed a valuation with Udinese, only for the player and his entourage to change their demands. Inter elected to withdraw from negotiations while the 21-year-old returned to training ahead of this weekends match against Juventus.
Sky Sport Italia now report that Lazio are making a strong bid to Udinese to try and sign Samardzic, despite having just completed the transfer of Juve youngster Nicolo Rovella.
According to transfer reports Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are aiming to include a player in any potential deal, but it’s yet to be seen if Udinese will accept any counterparts in the move.
