Lazio have made contact with Bologna as they step up their interest to sign right-winger Riccardo Orsolini. The 26-year-0ld has long been considered a promising attacking prospect, and last season was his most explosive, scoring 11 goals in Serie A, attracting the likes of the Biancocelesti as well as Fiorentina and Napoli.
Gianluca di Marzio now claims that with Orsolini’s current deal with the Rossoblu set to expire in the summer of 2024, Lazio are pushing to sign him and have have already made contact for him. Maurizio Sarri is looking to strengthen the attacking options in his squad and Orsolini is considered the perfect option.
Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi has been on Lazio’s list for some time, but the club are yet to bite the bullet and make a bid, given that Orsolini could well be the cheaper option, and with fewer miles on the tank.
Fenerbahce, Napoli and Fiorentina have also been tracking Orsolini in recent weeks and have all reportedly put forward bids to the player.
