Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto reports that Lazio have begun negotiations with AZ Alkmaar over the signing of Milos Kerkez. The Biancocelesti have been linked with the Hungarian left-back for a while time now, and are now looking to push ahead with an offer.
Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly a big fan of Kerkez, and Moretto now reports that negotiations between the two sides have begun.
The 19-year-old moved from Milan’s academy to AZ Alkmaar in January 2022 and has gone on to feature 57 times in all competitions for the Dutch club, scoring five goals and providing eight assists.
The Hungarian international was also part of the AZ squad that beat Lazio in both legs of the Europa Conference League round of 16, with Kerkez scoring the winner in the first-leg.
