Lazio announce UEFA Europa League squad, Castrovilli and Hysaj left out

Start

Lazio have officially submitted their squad list for the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League campaign, with some notable exclusions. Manager Marco Baroni has made his selections, leaving out defender Elseid Hysaj and midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli, who recently joined from Fiorentina.

The 22-man squad includes a mix of experienced players and promising talents. Key figures such as Pedro, Zaccagni, and Romagnoli have been included, while new signings like Dele-Bashiru and Tchaouna have also made the cut.

In goal, Lazio will rely on Provedel and Mandas, with young Furlanetto as the third option. The defensive line features Patric, Romagnoli, and Lazzari, among others.

The midfield boasts a strong contingent with Vecino, Rovella, and Guendouzi, while the attack is bolstered by the likes of Pedro, Zaccagni, Castellanos, and Isaksen.

The exclusion of Hysaj and Castrovilli suggests that Baroni may have other plans for these players in domestic competitions or that they may not feature prominently in his European tactics.
