Lautaro Martinez’s agent has declared that Inter Milan is the team of the Argentine striker’s life. This statement comes shortly after Lautaro, nicknamed “El Toro” (The Bull), renewed his contract with the Nerazzurri until 2029 in mid-August. The player’s entourage has now provided further declarations that solidify the relationship between the Argentine and the Milan-based club.
Alejandro Camano, Lautaro Martinez’s agent, spoke to Telecapri about his client, starting with his current form: “It’s not just about goals, he’s someone who facilitates Inter’s play, which is why he can’t live for goals alone. Lauti plays well both near and far from the penalty area. What people say about Lautaro isn’t important, what’s important is what he manages to give to the team.”
Regarding the upcoming Serie A match against Napoli, which means Lautaro will face his former Inter coach Antonio Conte, Camano stated: “Conte will always remain in Lautaro’s heart, he was very important for him. He’s happy if things go well for him, but on Sunday he wants to win.”
Camano also shared his thoughts on the Inter-Napoli match: “Inter is a confident team and must win. I like Napoli a lot, but I think Inter will win.”
When asked about which striking partnership is better – Lautaro-Lukaku or Lautaro-Thuram – Camano diplomatically responded: “Lukaku has played very well in many teams around the world, but today Lauti gets along very well with Thuram. Lautaro is an Inter player, and with Thuram today they are the most important pair in Italian football and one of the strongest in Europe.”
Finally, addressing the possibility of seeing Lautaro at Napoli one day, Camano was unequivocal: “He has four more years of contract with Inter, which is the team of his life. For an Argentine, Napoli is always a team that touches the heart, but Lautaro is very happy at Inter.”
