Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and have already made an offer for the player. The 23-year-old has been previously linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool, but it looks like the Ligue 1 champions have now made a first bid.
Agent Confirms PSG’s Offer
Sky Sport Italia report that Mamuka Jugeli, Kvaratskhelia’s agent, confirmed the offer from PSG in an interview with the Georgian edition of Gazzetta dello Sport. Jugeli dismissed rumors of interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, emphasizing that PSG’s interest is genuine and backed by a substantial financial offer.
“The interest from Saudi Arabia for Kvaratskhelia is not true. There is interest and an offer from PSG, but everything depends on the decision of Napoli and its president,” Jugeli stated.
A Substantial Bid on the Table
Following the departure of Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer, PSG is looking to bolster its attacking options by targeting the Italian league. The French giants have put forward a bid of €100 million for Kvaratskhelia. It is now up to Napoli, currently in discussions with manager Antonio Conte, to decide whether to accept the offer.
