The Partenopei are in need of defensive reinforcements, given their reliance on the South Korean defender who played a vital part in their title run, shortly before joining Bayern Munich last week.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Danso is at the top of Napoli’s list as they look to sign a new centre-back, with the price expected to be at least €30 million.
The report claims negotiations are expected to begin very soon and could be completed quickly.
Danso has made a name for himself in Ligue 1 after two impressive seasons with the French minnows, making 74 appearances across all competitions.
