Vasilije Adzic, the promising 18-year-old Montenegrin talent, has encountered another setback in his journey with Juventus. The young midfielder is facing his second injury of the season, which has prevented him from making his debut for the Bianconeri first team.
Adzic has suffered a muscular injury to his left thigh, a development that will keep him sidelined until after the October international break. The club expects him to return to action on October 19th, when Juventus are scheduled to face Lazio.
This latest setback comes on the heels of Adzic’s previous injury in August. At that time, he experienced a low-grade lesion in the rectus femoris muscle of his right thigh. After recovering from that initial injury, Adzic had resumed training and was included in Thiago Motta’s squad selections, although he had yet to make an on-field appearance.
The recurring injuries are undoubtedly hampering Adzic’s integration into the Juventus first team. The club and manager Thiago Motta have shown great faith in the young talent by immediately including him in the senior squad, bypassing the usual step of playing for Juventus Next Gen.
