Juventus are being closely linked with young Genoa defender Alan Matturro who they want for the Next Gen team. The 18-year-old only made two appearances last year in Serie B with Gilardino’s team, but is already in the Bianconeri’s sights for next year.
The Uruguayan is fresh from the Under-20 World Cup won with La Celeste and won the award for the second best player in the competition.
Tuttosport report that Juve are interested in Matturro, and talks have begun with Genoa, who are in turn interested in Juve youngsters Barrenechea and Miretti for next season, possibly on loan.
The intention from Juve management is to bring Matturro to Turin but add him to the Next Gen team that plays in Serie C, the ideal bedrock for the player to grow.
