A report from Tuttosport claims Juventus have identified Milan’s Frederic Massara as their first choice as Sporting Director at the club next season. The Bianconeri are still in the process of a rebuild at management level following the mass resignation of the previous board of directors last year and are reportedly looking for a new Director of Sport.
Turin based Tuttosport report that the ‘casting’ for the new role has been finalised and Massara is the number one pick for the club as they will look to rebuild in the summer.
The suggestion from the newspaper is that Massara’s relationship with the new management at Milan hasn’t ‘taken off’ and as such, he could be set to leave the Rossoneri at the end of the season.
For now, the Bianconeri are still awaiting the outcome of their appeal to CONI for a 15-point penalty as well as the ongoing Prisma investigation which is expected to reach a conclusion next month. Both cases could yet have an impact, and if Juve’s appeal is successful, they may yet qualify for next seasons Champions League, a decision that would influence the clubs summer transfer activity.
