Juventus are looking ever more unlikely to sign PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes when his loan ends next summer. The Argentine international, currently at the World Cup, arrived in Turin in the summer, but has failed to make a telling impact on the team.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Argentine’s Juve deal included an obligation to sign him outright, if they were to progress in the Champions League.
The option to sign him is set at €27.8 million with a salary of €7.5 million per season, but it seems unlikely that the Old Lady will make the deal permanent.
In the Bianconeri’s recent run of six consecutive wins, Paredes featured for just 59 minutes spread across those matches, largely as a substitute from the bench.
