Juventus are gearing up for a busy period of transfer activity and contract negotiations in the months ahead. La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the club is set to open discussions with Porto regarding the permanent transfer of Francisco Conceição, following his loan move last summer. With more time available, the negotiations are expected to progress smoothly.
Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli has several meetings planned this autumn to secure the futures of key players whose contracts need revision. One of the most pressing issues is Dušan Vlahović’s situation. The Serbian striker’s current salary of around €12 million per season is twice the club’s new wage ceiling of €6 million . With his contract expiring in 2026, Juventus must either renegotiate or consider selling him next summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Federico Gatti and Mattia Perin are also in line for contract extensions. Gatti, who has become a cornerstone of Thiago Motta’s team, is likely to extend his contract until 2029. Perin, despite limited playing time, is valued for his experience and support to the squad.
The club are also looking to secure the future of young talent Joseph Mbangula by extending his contract beyond its current 2026 expiration, with 2028 as the minimum target.
Regarding Conceição, Juventus aims to make his move permanent. The loan of Tiago Djaló to Porto could play a role in negotiations, with Juventus hoping to recoup some of the €7 million spent on Conceição’s initial loan. Porto is reluctant to sell below €25 million, but there’s potential for the deals to be linked, especially if Djaló impresses during his loan spell.
