Juventus are set to sign young Valencia defender Facundo Gonzalez, with the deal already close to being complete. The Bianconeri have reportedly moved quickly to secure the 20-year-old and have already ‘blocked’ the player, securing a deal with Valencia.
Sky Sport Italia report that the deal will be closed next week with final details to be ironed out in the days ahead, but the Bianconeri ‘have the defender in their grasp.’ despite interest from the likes of Serie A rivals AC Milan.
Gonzalez has featured extensively for Los che in their B team, making 59 appearances and scoring 4 goals since arriving in 2020. He was also part of the Uruguayan side that won the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
