Juventus to sign Livano Comenencia

Start

Juventus are set to sign young Dutch full-back Livano Comenencia from PSV with medical tests already scheduled. The Bianconeri are in the market for a new right-back, having allowed Juan Cuadrado to leave for free earlier this summer. Timothy Weah has been signed to play as a right wing-back, but the club lack cover in the full-back positions on both flanks.

Fabrizio Romano now reports that a deal is in place to sign 19-year-old Comenencia for a fee close to €3 million, with the player posting a picture on his Instagram account, suggesting he is on his way to Italy already.

Romano reports that medical checks have already been booked for the youngster, but there’s no indication yet as to whether or not he will feature in the first team.

Comenencia has been with PSV since he was a youngster, coming through the youth ranks to play in their reserve team.
