Reports from Italy indicate that Juventus have beaten Inter to the signing of Lille centre-back Tiago Djalo. The Portuguese defender had been a long-term target for the Nerazzurri, who looked set to sign him as a free agent in June, when his contract with Lille ends.
Sky Sport Italia now claim that Juventus have taken the lead in the race to sign the player, offering the Ligue 1 side €3 million to sign him in January.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Portuguese defender’s agents are discussing contractual details with the Bianconeri , with the 23-year-old having already given his OK for the move to Turin, pending the signing.
