Juventus are focusing their attention on Barcelona’s Franck Kessie to reinforce their midfield this summer. The Bianconeri have reportedly identified the Ivorian as a transfer target to bolster their options in the centre of the pitch.
Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juve want Kessie on loan, with an option to sign him outright next year.
There has already been contact between the two clubs around three to four days ago to understand the feasibility of the negotiation and to see with which formula Kessie could see arrive at Juve.
Besides the agreement between the clubs, Kessie’s agreement to the move is still missing at the moment. The former AC Milan midfielder has not yet decided whether to leave Barcelona and for the time being, he’s not convinced of making the move back to Italy, but if he does, the negotiations between the two clubs can get into full swing.
Juventus have identified Kessie as the target for their midfield and will try to get the Ivorian after finalising the disposals of Zakaria, Arthur and McKennie.
