Juventus set to finalize Khéphren Thuram deal next week

Start

Juventus are stepping up their efforts to secure Khéphren Thuram’s signature, with the deal expected to be completed by next week. Nice has set a price tag of €20 million for the midfielder, son of former Juventus legend Lilian Thuram.

Sky Sport Italia report the Bianconeri are working to reach the asking price through a combination of fixed fee and bonuses. Juventus aim to structure the deal with a base fee between €15-16 million, plus €4-5 million in add-ons.

This transfer is likely to be accelerated by the imminent departure of Moise Kean to Fiorentina, with the deal expected to provide Juve with the financial flexibility to push through the Thuram deal.

Thuram, brother of Marcus Thuram, has been a key target for Juventus as they look to bolster their midfield under incoming manager Thiago Motta. The 23-year-old made 29 appearances for Nice last season, contributing one goal and one assist.
