Cristiano Giuntoli and Thiago Motta have clear ideas about which players do not fit into their plans for the new Juventus. According to Calciomercato, among these is certainly Moise Kean: in the coming days, this decision will be communicated to the representative of the 24-year-old striker.
Kean is one of the non-starting players with the highest cost per year. His salary, still under the growth decree, is €4 million net annually (about €6 million gross), and his amortization approaches nearly €10 million per year. Cristiano Giuntoli’s idea is to generate around €15 million from his sale.
Kean’s preference would be to remain in Italy, where he has already received expressions of interest, especially from Fiorentina. The Viola club is negotiating for Mateo Retegui but hasn’t given up on the former PSG player after also trying to sign him in the January transfer window. The good relationship between his entourage and Daniele Pradè could facilitate a successful negotiation.
Bologna are also in the running, following a specific indication from Vincenzo Italiano, creating an “Apennine derby” in the transfer market as well. This situation sets up an intriguing competition between the two clubs for Kean’s signature.
