Juventus are on the verge of finalizing two significant transfers as the summer window heats up. Michele Di Gregorio, the Italian goalkeeper, is scheduled to undergo his medical examination with Juventus on Friday, July 5. Sky Sport Italia report how Di Gregorio, who was named Serie A Goalkeeper of the Season, is poised to become Juventus’ second signing of the summer. His arrival could potentially lead to the departure of either Wojciech Szczesny or Mattia Perin, both of whom have contracts expiring in June 2025.
In another development, Khéphren Thuram, the 22-year-old midfielder from Nice, is also set to join Juventus. Thuram, brother of Inter Milan striker Marcus and son of former French international Lilian Thuram, will not participate in the upcoming Olympics with the French U23 team.
French Olympic team coach Thierry Henry announced during a press conference that Thuram will not be part of the squad for the Games, as per Juventus’ request. This decision strongly indicates that Thuram’s move to Turin is all but confirmed.
