Juventus secure contract extensions for Perin and Gatti

Juventus is set to strengthen its squad stability by finalizing contract renewals for goalkeeper Mattia Perin and defender Federico Gatti. The club has reached agreements with both players, with only the official signatures remaining to complete the deals.

Calciomercato report that for Perin, the day is particularly special as he prepares to start in goal for Juventus against Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League. The 31-year-old keeper will step in for the suspended Michele Di Gregorio, who was sent off in the previous match against Leipzig.

According to reports, Juventus and Perin’s representatives have agreed on a two-year contract extension. The Italian goalkeeper is expected to sign the new deal in the coming days, which will keep him at the club until 2027. Perin’s salary will remain largely unchanged, with the player continuing to earn around 1.5 million euros net per season.

Following Perin’s extension, attention will turn to Federico Gatti. The 25-year-old defender has also reached an agreement with the club for a contract extension. Gatti’s new deal will run until 2029, reflecting Juventus’ long-term faith in the player.

Unlike Perin, Gatti’s new contract will come with a significant salary increase. Currently earning 1.4 million euros net per season, the new agreement will see his annual wages rise to over 2 million euros net.
