Juventus scouts watch Jakub Kiwior

Start

Juventus scouts were present to watch in-demand Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior during their 2-2 draw against Atalanta. The Polish international has already been linked with the Bianconeri as well as drawing the attention of scouts from Milan, Chelsea and RB Leipzig.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio and Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti both report that Juve scouts were present to watch Kiwior this afternoon as they look to revitalise their back line. The Old Lady saw Giorgio Chiellini move to MLS last summer while Leonardo Bonucci has entered the twilight of his playing career, and are in need of new signings in defence.

Di Marzio writes that Kiwior’s agents have spoken to La Spezia in recent days to discuss the defender’s future, while the club consider him an important player and are unlikely to part with him in January.

At the moment, no official offers have arrived from other clubs, however Leipzig hold a strong interest and are waiting to see what happens with Josko Gvardiol before making a move.
