Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with Ligue 1 side Monaco for the transfer of Denis Zakaria. The Swiss midfielder has struggled to find a place with the Bianconeri, spending last season on loan before being told he did not feature in the clubs plans for the new season. Premier League side West Ham had been in talks for the 26-year-old since June, but reports suggest Monaco have now taken the lead in the race to sign the player.
Sky Sport Italia and various others report that Juve have now reached terms with Monaco for the players outright transfer this summer.
The fee is expected to be €20 million, a decent return on the €8.6 million that the club paid for him from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2021.
Zakaria is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Ligue 1 club, and the deal could be complete as early as next week.
