Juventus prioritising Iling Junior renewal

Start

Juventus are working to renew the contract of youngster Samuel Iling-Junior but there’s interest from both RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt. The 19-year-old made his breakthrough into the first team in Juve’s 4-3 loss to Benfica in the Champions League before providing the vital assist in their 1-0 victory over Lecce the following weekend.

His exploits in those two matches have bought him even more attention in recent weeks and Il Corriere Dello Sport report that his contract renewal has become a ‘top priority’ for Juventus.

The player’s existing deal ends in June 2023 and there’s increased interest in the young prospect, not least from those sides that were already following him.

Juve are working on a new contract offer that would extend his stay until 2026 with talks having already started, coupled with the arrival in Turin of his agent, Frank Trimboli

Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are both thought to be highly interested in the Englishman but staying at Juve remains Iling’s priority. Despite the positive signs emitting from Continassa and beyond the economic aspect, the player is looking for guarantees about a permanent place with the first team, even when the injury crisis at the club is over.
