The English attacking midfielder, born in 2001, has been making waves at Empoli, where he has been utilized effectively by coach Roberto D’Aversa. Calciomercato report how Empoli’s sporting director, Roberto Gemmi, took a calculated risk by signing Anjorin from Chelsea on the last day of the summer transfer window. The deal was structured perfectly for Empoli, involving a nominal fee of €1 million along with a 50% sell-on clause for any future transfer. Anjorin signed a contract that runs until 2027, with an option for an additional year, earning a salary of €300,000 net per season.
