Juventus make contact with Adeyemi camp over potential move

Start

Juventus have reportedly rekindled their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s rising star, Karim Adeyemi this summer. After briefly pausing their interest earlier in July, the Italian giants have now made direct contact with the player’s representatives to explore the possibility of bringing him to Turin.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the 22-year-old winger, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising talents, has been on Juventus’ radar since June. However, the club’s focus on other transfer activities temporarily shifted their attention away from Adeyemi. Now, it appears the young German is back at the top of their wishlist.

Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is working diligently to create room for Adeyemi’s potential arrival. The club is looking to offload Matias Soule, with his transfer expected to generate around €30 million. This influx of funds could provide Juventus with the financial leverage needed to make a compelling offer to Borussia Dortmund.

However, negotiations with Dortmund have yet to begin. The German club is likely to demand a substantial fee for their prized asset, especially considering Adeyemi’s growing importance to the team towards the end of last season. Juventus, known for their shrewd business acumen, will undoubtedly seek to negotiate a favorable deal.

The potential acquisition of Adeyemi would be a significant coup for Juventus, adding to their recent signings of Khephren Thuram, Douglas Luiz, and Michele Di Gregorio. However, the club must first finalize several departures before engaging in formal talks with Borussia Dortmund.
