Juventus Loanee Dean Huijsen Draws Interest from Tottenham Hotspur

Start

Juventus defender Dean Huijsen, currently on loan at Roma, has attracted the attention of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, adding another contender to the race for his signature alongside Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig.

At just 18 years old, the centre-back has already shown promise, earning a promotion from Juventus’ youth team to the senior squad earlier this season. His loan move to Roma in January has provided him with valuable first-team experience, where he has made a notable impact, including scoring his first goal.

Reports suggest that Roma are keen to negotiate an extension of Huijsen’s loan for the next season, recognizing his potential and the benefits of further development at the club.

Tuttojuve and TeamTalk indicate that Tottenham Hotspur has entered the race for Huijsen’s signature. Spurs have demonstrated their willingness to invest in former Juventus players, notably paying €50m for Cristian Romero after he was sold to Atalanta for €17m.

While Juventus may be tempted by potential offers, La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the club is not yet ready to part ways with Huijsen. Instead, they may look to capitalize on his growing value or potentially integrate him into their defensive lineup for the future.
