Reports from the Italian media suggest Juventus are preparing to make a move for Salernitana defender Pasquale Mazzocchi. The right-back joined the Granata on loan from Venezia in 2022 before making the move permanent that summer. He’s since earned his first call up to the Italian national team, featuring in the 2-0 win over Hungary in the Nations League.
Calciomercato and Sportitalia report that the Bianconeri are eager to secure his services ahead of the upcoming season, and view him as a good prospect to replace Juan Cuadrado on the right side of the pitch.
Juventus are looking for market opportunities, given their current financial situation, and according to Calciomercato, they’re prepared to offer €4 million in addition to the signature of Hans Nicolussi Caviglia, who is currently on loan with Salernitana, to secure Mazzocchi.
According to the report, Juve hold an option to make Caviglia’s transfer permanent, which would normally require a fee. However, in this case, the Old Lady would waive the fee and use that amount in the deal to secure Mazzocchi, if Salernitana accepts their proposal.
