Reports from Italy claim that Juventus are considering a loan move for former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson. The 33-year-old veteran made the switch to Saudi Arabia in the summer, but there are suggestions that he is already looking to leave Al-Ettifaq after just six months.
The former Reds captain faced strong criticism for the move at the time, given that he had been vocal in his support of the LGBTQ+ community for many years while playing for Liverpool.
Sky Sport Italia now make the claim that the Bianconeri could look to loan Henderson in a move that could suit both parties, however the sticking point may be the terms.
It’s reported that the former England international is looking for an 18-month loan deal, but Juve want a shorter contract and would need to make adjustments to their squad to accommodate the switch.
The Bianconeri are in the market for a new central midfielder, but were thought to be pursuing a deal for Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic.
