Juventus have opened formal discussions with Feyenoord regarding the potential transfer of defender David Hancko. The Serie A giants are seeking to bolster their defensive options following injuries to key players Juan Cabal and Gleison Bremer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli views Hancko as an economical solution to the club’s defensive crisis. The Bianconeri are exploring ways to finance the move, potentially by selling either Nicolo Fagioli, who has attracted interest from Marseille and Premier League clubs, or Douglas Luiz in the January transfer window.
Juventus hopes to leverage their good relationship with Feyenoord, established during the summer loan of Facundo Gonzalez, to negotiate a lower transfer fee for Hancko.
