Reports from Italy claim Juventus are in currently in talks with the agents of Real Valladolid full-back Ivan Fresneda. The 18-year-old has become one of the most in-demand players in Europe, with Manchester United, Newcastle United, Real Madrid and Arsenal all following the young talent.
The Bianconeri scouted the young talent when he played against Real Madrid earlier in the season and has been on their short-list since last summer.
Juventus will watch Fresneda play for Valladolid against Real Madrid tomorrow. The full-back is one of the candidates to strengthen Juve’s right wing, along with Karsdorp, Dalot & Maehle. Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo has now confirmed that Juventus are in talks with the players agents and their intention is to leave Valladolid during the January transfer window.
The youngster has a contract with Los Blanquivioletas until 2025 but has seen his value rise dramatically following a breakout 2022/23 season.
Juventus are in desperate need of a replacement right-back as Juan Cuadrado is currently injured and expected to leave in June, while Mattia De Sciglio has spent much of his Bianconeri career on the sidelines through injury.
