Juventus eyeing Alvaro Morata for third spell at the club

Start

Juventus are reportedly eyeing Alvaro Morata for the summer which would make it his third stint at the club. According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport, Juventus are actively strategizing for the upcoming transfer window, particularly with the FIFA Club World Cup on the horizon. With Moise Kean’s likely departure from the Bianconeri in the summer, Juventus are  keen on securing a replacement striker.

In light of this, the idea of bringing Morata back into the fold has gained traction within the Juventus hierarchy. The Spanish forward, who already boasts a residence in Turin, holds a special affinity for the city, making a return an appealing prospect. Morata’s proven track record and reliability in delivering performances at the highest level make him an attractive option for Juventus.

However, the potential stumbling block in negotiations could be the transfer fee. Despite Morata’s desire for a return to Juventus, Atletico Madrid, his current club, may demand a substantial fee, estimated to be in the range of €15 million to €20 million for a permanent transfer.

The financial feasibility of the deal hinges not only on the departure of Kean but also on the potential sales of other players within Juventus’ squad, including Arek Milik and Federico Chiesa. The funds generated from these transfers could significantly influence Juventus’ ability to pursue Morata and bolster their attacking lineup for the upcoming season.
